⚠️ Weather Alerts Ireland Advisory ⚠️

Strong Winds and rough seas are expected over the next few days!

A very large low pressure system has formed in the Atlantic and this will push towards Iceland.

This system will send large waves to many areas of the North Atlantic. Waves upto 30 feet are expected (9 metres) on the West Coast of Ireland with the peak expected early Friday morning.

The swell will start to build tomorrow afternoon and is expected to last until Saturday but it does appear more low pressure systems will push large waves towards Ireland into next week.

Coastal flooding is possible from these high seas as well as strong onshore winds. Please take care and stay away from coastal areas if possible.

Overnight tonight a band of rain is expected and with this strong winds. The strong winds will continue over the next few days with heavy showers. These could well turn wintry tomorrow as cold air is expected to push into Ireland after the rain band.

Weather Warnings have been issued by Met Eireann and the Met Office for Ireland and these can be seen at https://weatheralertsireland.com/warnings

Please take care!

Thanks,

Nick
