The band of rain that is currently affecting many parts of the midlands at the moment will move West this evening and as they move West there is a chance it could turn to thunderstorms in many parts.
The main risk of thunderstorms appear to be North Kerry, Clare Galway and Mayo but some could occur elsewhere.
These thunderstorms would be isolated but if they do occur could bring torrential rain and hail which could lead to localised flooding. Frequent lightning would also be expected.
Warnings are in force for this evening and tomorrow so please check these out at https://weatheralertsireland.com/warnings
More thunderstorms activity possible tomorrow also!
