A low pressure system is expected to push over Ireland from the North tomorrow morning This will bring heavy rain to Ulster and North Connacht.
As this pushes South it will merge with much colder air that will also push down from the North.
This colder air is expected to turn the rain to sleet and snow as it pushes South tomorrow afternoon into tomorrow night.
Higher ground in the midlands and Leinster in particular have the best chance of snow but lower ground could see some flurries!
Some accumulations would be possible on higher ground!
It will be interesting to see how this progresses throughout the day tomorrow and on the morning models.
Later this week snow is forecast. The West in particular on Thursday night into Friday looks interesting as heavy showers could turn wintry.
