The unsettled weather is expected to continue with lots of rain expected by the end of the weekend.
The Mid West is expected to see the highest rainfall totals with some spots seeing over 100mm and possibly over 110mm.
Other parts of the Mid West and North are expected to see upto 70mm.
The South of the country is expected to escape the worst of this rain. Parts of the South Coast may see upto 20mm in parts with inland areas seeing less than 30-40mm.
The first band of rain is expected overnight and will push East across the country. Then a low pressure will push in tomorrow night into Thursday.
This low pressure is expected to sit over Ireland and the UK over the weekend keeping the rain moving over Ireland. Thunderstorms are possibly on Thursday and Friday.
Localised flooding is possible so please take care!
